Another sad incident



Allahabad, Sep 25 (ANI): A boy named Gaurav Banerjee was killed due to a kite string in Allahabad city of Uttar Pradesh. The kite string struck the boy's neck slitting his nerves and leading to his death. Banerjee along with a girl was on a bike riding on the Yamuna Bridge in Allahabad when a 'Chinese kite string' stuck into his throat. As soon as he could realize and react to it, his throat was cut by the thread. The girl was also injured seriously. The two were then rushed to a nearby hospital where the boy was declared dead. The family members, meanwhile, demanded that such strings be banned. Meanwhile, police is investigating the matter.

Kite flying tradition on Makar Sankranti on Tuesday turned out to be a nightmare for parents of a five-year-old girl, who died after her throat was slit by a sharp thread, while 73 others were injured in kite flying accidents, police said in Jaipur.
