In a tussle between aesthetics and luminosity on the one hand and lower power expenditure on the other, the former stole a march. The use of sodium vapour bulbs can burn a hole of Rs. 80 crore annually in the deep pockets of the Mumbai civic body.

Not long ago, the Internet was gripped by a war of words over the colour of a dress. The colour war in Mumbai seems settled with a little judicial intervention. For now, at least.
