The idea of Hindu means he or she accepts his/her birth to finish the incomplete previous birth. Thus in a way you are right. A Hindu is by Hindu rituals, but all are Atma if we accept it. But you view is also true if we logically think about it? Why will GOD (Paramatma, Supreme...) will create only Hindus? Is he/she is also partial?.. Well I will leave it a tthat.
