[h=1]Lightroom on Android is now free[/h] December 7, 2015 Kishore Ganesh Leave a comment Edit
When you look at the most pirated software, you would find that Adobe’s suite of programs are some of the most pirated programs. However, most people pirate programs like Photoshop and Lightroom to make basic edits which can be possible in just about any photo-editing app, and it is for this demographic that Adobe made Lightroom on iOS free.
Now, Adobe is making Lightroom on Android free, thus eliminating the need for a Creative Cloud subscription when working in Lightroom.
Of course, for a few features, you still need a Creative Cloud subscription. These features interface with the Desktop version of Lightroom, and enabling the editing and syncing of RAW files much easier.
What do you think? Will piracy of Adobe software slow down after making its mobile counterparts free?
