Fix your eyes in the centre of the screen, just below the horizon. As the train moves forward you see the track going away from you.
As the train reaches speed, the direction seems to change
and the tracks appear to be coming towards you. Happens round about the time the woman coughs.
It's an example of the wagon wheel illusion effect, aliasing.
