Right now, most might think that there’s not much exciting happening in technology. This is because there’s no innovation happening in the most interesting of categories, and we have been following reiterative release cycles for quite some time now, but the fact is, you have to delve a bit deeper to get to the innovative things happening in technology.

One of those is the Makey Makey Go, which is the successor of the original Makey Makey and is relying on Kickstarter to fund the manufacturing process.

Pl watch this video below:

The Makey Makey was basically a device with two parts, a USB Stick and an alligator clip, which you could plug onto anything, and bam, you have an input device. It could be a mouse button or a keyboard one, and it in itself proved to be a lot of fun.

The Makey Makey Go one ups that with support for multiple inputs, but the real kicker is Arduino Support, meaning that you can do a lot more cool things with these inputs. And the Arduino is included in the package, so there are no additional costs.

The Go is also much more easier to use than the original, which was already pretty simple to begin with. With a bit of creativity, this tool can provide hours of fun.

Makey Makey Go’s Kickstarter Campaign has a goal of $10,000, and it has already blown past it and is sitting at $24,000 right now. You can buy it for $19, giving you a USB Board, Alligator Clips and an Arduino.

The Go’s estimated shipping date is somewhere around November.

What do you think? Are you excited by this little kit?
