Why is there so much dust when the elephant charges? And the guy seems to touch the elephant's trunk!

I agree with Raji ji's observation that this a doctored video.
But most of large animals are color blind.
Color-blind humans share identical sets of visual pigments with elephants.

So the color does not mind, Secondly they have very poor eye sight, they can only see if the object is moving.
