Such unconventional methods such as trachenberg system of speed mathematics or vedic arithmetic do not get into school teaching system. I wish a special session or course is taught at school level on memory techniques and short cut computing.

Are you sure it has its origin in Japan? I thought it was supposed to be Vadic Mathematics.

Perhaps went to Japan from bharat. During his recent visit to Japan, modi gifted a copy of the manuscript written by a Japanese scholar when he visted gujarat in the 12th century.

Such hatred for Hindus and India is bad for health and mental balance.

I saw the video for the three digit numbers. Black line for number 5; carrying over etc., may drive us crazy!

Best method is ours - to learn by heart the tables for the first 16 digits from 1, up to the 16th multiple.
