Probably like many others, I have missed the monthly oonams, & masikams during the first year after a parent passed away. During the varushapthigam (first srraddham after 12 months), is there a way to "make up" for the monthly rituals which were not performed ? Some purohits are of the view that some sort of make-up is possible (for a fee) but I also read that there is no such procedure where missed monthly rituals can be compensated during the varushapthigam..
