After the dismal performance in 2014, Lok Sabha Elections, the "Mighty" Congress finds it difficult to accept the real reason, instead in their frustration jumping all around like headless chicken, their leaders find a new reason a day. How ever one man, an honest Congress leader Mr A K Antony spelt the truth, who said "the party had lost ground because of its perceived pro-minority image". Mr.Antony said that his party’s apparent proximity to minority communities had led people to doubt its secularism. Though his statement is perceived to confine politics in his State of Kerala, it is applicable to all India.

Please read the following news itsm:

Antony?s remark on minorities revives debate in Congress - The Hindu

Mr A K Antony is a pragmatist and he is honest enough to declare in open what he felt as true. But it is amusing to read the Comments of Mr Digvijay Singh who talks about "lust for power". Politics is about power only. Otherwise the leaders can join in Ashrams to lead peaceful life. Congress still has a chance of rebuilding the Party if it restore inner party democracy and encourage natural growth of leaders instead of appointees from the top. They should abolish the "High Command" first, and elect new office bearers. For successful functioning of democracy it is essential to have a strong and responsive opposition party as well.

Is AKA being really honest? He is only talking about "perceived pro-minority image" without ever acknowledging all the invidious and discriminatory schemes brought forth by the Congress that too only in the context of the growth/ entry of "communal" BJP in Kerala. Too clever by half...

You are right! Keyword is 'perceived'. He is still stressing that congress is a secular party, and the drabbing has not opened their eyes. Average Indian has seen through the deception. Let us hope congress remains ignorant for ever!

Better late than never! The writing on the wall is clear! The party requires a new leadership bereft of the current crop of foreign born or foreign brained!
