While 2016 has been a year of break ups and divorces, we haven’t seen it all.
Ainuddin wife Dilwara Begum, voted for BJP instead of voting for Congress, as ordered by the elders of Donam Addahati Village, in the Assam Elections of 2016.
Little did she know that she’d get a talaq for doing so…
Yes as strange as that may sound. He was extremely offended when Dilwara chose to move away from the herd opinion and cast her vote in favour of Pramod Borathakur, the BJP candidate.
This year Assam witnessed the highest polling percentage ever with a shocking 84.72 %
They witnessed a 70% turnout in the first polling phase, which turned to 82.01% in the second and got us to this stunning turnout.
But Dilwara’s vote was a one off, in an otherwise polarised vote scenario between Hindu’s and Muslims.
Well irrespective of the scenario, the reasons for ending a marriage are becoming vaguer than ever.
