No Gifts, only Charity
Chinmayi is using her upcoming wedding (on May 6) to actor Rahul Ravindran to promote charity. The singer, who has opted for a low-profile wedding ceremony at a city-hotel, has requested guests to not bring in any gifts and instead donate the amount to the 17,000 ft Foundation, a charity organization in Ladakh.
When we spoke to the singer's mom, Padmhasini, she said, "A flower bouquet today costs ` 500 and what happens in weddings is that they are forgotten once the ceremony is done. So, we wanted to make it more meaningful and decided to request guests to donate to this cause instead of spending on gifts. We have also mentioned the same in the invite as well."

National Award winning Singer Chinmayi is all set to get married to actor Rahul Ravindran on the 6th of May. Rahul Ravindran is known for his Moscowin Kaveri with Samantha and several other films like Vinmeengal and a Tollywood flick Andala Rakshasi.
Now the latest is that the couple have taken a noble initiative in their marriage by requesting the invitees to not bring any gifts and bouquet but instead to donate for a Charity 17,000 Ft Foundation, A charity organization based in Ladakh.
