Pariharam Temple for Childless Couples for Childbirth

In my earlier post, I have provided you with a Pariharam temple for childless couples namely the Divyadesam 109 which is otherwise known as Panchamuga Narasimhar Temple where from one can get the Panchamuga Pariharam.

In this post, I am giving another temple for childless couples wherein people can pray for childbirth, and this temple is located near Mysore in Karnataka.

Melakottai ThiruNarayanapuram Temple Karnataka

Thiru Narayana Puram temple is one of the most famous and prestigious Sri Vaishnava Temple located near Mysore in Karnataka. Whenever one visits a temple, we should know the following details:

1. Name of the Moolavar = Thru Naaraayanan.
   
2. Name of the Thaayaar = Yathu Giri Naachiyar.
   
3. Name of the Utsavar = Sella Pillai or Selva Pillai.
   
4. Name of the Utsava Thaayar = Selva Nayaki.
5. Name of the Pushkarani or Theertham = Kalyana Pushkarani.
   
6. Details of Paasuram (if any) = Nil (hence Non-Divyadesam).

Important Temple

Thirunaaraayanan himself appeared in the dream of Sri Raamaanujar and expressed the location of His idol. Accordingly, Bhagavad Sri Raamaanujar approached the place, now called the Kalyana Theertham or Pushkarani and found the Idol. Therefore, this temple is classified under Swayambu Kshetrams because the humans did not create the vigraham.
