VAO asks Rs.2000 for Patta Name Transfer | I Paid a Bribe | Uncover the market price of corruption in India

patta transfer or name transfer made while registering sale deed itself i.e., Registrar or sub registrar it self other wise we can pay money to VAO, surveryor etc., it shows motiving bribe. Govt tell giving bribe and collecting bribe is punisable this slogan is easy to say - with giving bride for one work we can take leave no of days the govt officials says today today when ever go.

many like u growl but don't take the route to get the work done.In my case i got it done by RTI act forcing thasildar to come to court.Many people paid 3000 to 5000 for the patta.In fact patta problem can be solved very simply because sales of any property &thereby change in title name takes place in sub-registrars office not in taluk office.The administrative procedure to be such that once the saledeed done at subregistrar office(SRO).For which one more page to be added in the sale deed detailing name changes with survey nos etc.This page to be signed by the subregistrar & that can be taken as patta /property name transfer document.Then SRO should intimate the change in name of the asset to the concerned taluk office for up dating of land records on a regular basis.The people can be spared from visiting taluk office totall for patta transfer. OR otherwise considering the high level of corruption in this &villagers are affected the govt.can do away with patta name transfer if the saledeed /latest EC can be produced. for loan/approvaletc.
