The Pebble is an Epaper Smartwatch that kickstarted the Wearable Revolution after a successful crowdfunding round on Kickstarter (See what we did there?). If you are seeing an increased interest in wearables today, it is thanks to Pebble.
But over the last few months, with the emergence of Android Wear and the Apple Watch looming around the corner, the Pebble seems a little long in the tooth even with its spectacular Battery Life which is better than almost all other Smartwatches.
Now, Pebble is hosting an event on 24th February, where it will announce something. We think it will announce a color Smartwatch, bringing it in line with the current crop. It will be interesting to see whether Pebble will be able to maintain the same long Battery Life in its color Smartwatches too.
