Doctors in delhi are in arms about the negative portrayal of private doctors in NCERT textbook's class VII social sciences text book.

the damaging comments
1.Private doctors prescribe unnecessary expensive medicines ,injections or saline bottles when tablets or simple medicine can suffice

2 . Difference in treatment in private and govt hospitals - cost of treating the same illness is Rs3500 in private hospital and Rs 150 in govt hospital

IMA national president has opined that a wrong message will go out that private sector fleeces money.

IMA wants the chapter in textbook rewritten.lol

Is there any iota of truth in what IMA says? Private doctors are only for the middle class or rich..It is not for the poor people...The poor continue to throng Government hospitals...But GOI has to improve the standard of Government hospitals to AIIMS level similar to Singapore!

One can but admire Pappu Yadav ,a bihar legislator. He has threatened to fix private doctors if they charge more than 50 rs from the poor for any consultation.

you know many private hospitals like private school collected cheap land from the govt promising treatment at nominal cost to EWS people. They mostly renege on that .

Most beds in their hospitals meant for them remain unoccupied. The poor even if admitted treated callously. big ,renowned hospitals are guilty . now new delhi govt is

trying to fix their malpractices and increasing the occupancy of EWS patients in these hospitals. Similarly in renowned schools , a huge scam was unearthed, very well

off getting admitted in EWS quota meant for the poor. their admissions got cancelled. .It is a sin to be poor in india

It is a sin to be poor in india

There are people who envy poor of India bcos these poor are offered freebies abundantly whenever there are elections by political Parties where there is a stiff competition among them.

To get anything at free of cost, one need to be a privileged person in the society:-)

Each party comes up with novel schemes promising to uplift the lives of poor by providing free roti, kapada aur makaan, etc

These political parties eventually think only about the poor all the time bcos they are the 'vote bank'.

To remain at the attention of Political leaders is really great.

So it is in fact a blessing to be a poor in India.

The ruling party the leader of which has just won with a thumping majority at Chennai don't seems to have guts to enforce prohibition in the State for obvious reasons.

And the poor ensure that they remain poor. And it is the poor who are responsible for their plight.

Yes. It is totally true. As in education where the cost per year in a private institution is Rs. 300000/- and Rs. 30000/- in a Govt institution.
But in Govt. Hospital if a person has influence he can get royal treatment.
But one doubt, why politicians do not get admitted their ward in Govt Schools and families in Govt Hospitals.
