Puffed Rice or Pori Uppuma
This is very good snack for diet.Easy to make.
5 cups of Puffed rice,
1 onion chopped
A hand full of roasted peanut
Green chillies cut in to small pieces
Ginger cut in to small pieces or grate
Curry leaves, haldi,hing.
Lemon
1 tbsp pottu kadalai dry fry and 1 tsp coconut scrapping dry fry. Powder and keep
In a kadai add 1 tsp oil. Add mustard, urad dhal,curry leaves, green chillies, ginger, little hing.
Add onions fry for seconds to change its colour.add peanuts.add salt, haldi.
Wash Puffed rice in plenty of water with hands. Take it out. Add this . Mix. Add powdered item. Mix throughly. Add powdered pottu kadalai, coconut mix .Squeez 1 lemon. Garnish with dhaniya leaves.
If we want we can add vegetables of our choice.add veggies after frying onion.
This is a very good dish for dieting.very low calorie snack
