Dear all, thank you for all the valuble advice. Some positive updates I would like to share with you, which have gotten lost in the long thread of messages:
1. My relatives were able to get yagnopaveetham tied with for the length measurement I sent, from an ayyapan koil vadiyar from chennai
2. As for learning sandhya, I have amassed the collection of the following books, and started reading and comparing them, and Giri's guide video by TS Ranganathan. (In fact, I would appreciate if anyone knowing the right vedic swara and pronunciation can tell me if his version is good or are there any better ones)[ATTACH=full]22403[/ATTACH]
