The story I now goes on similar lines but makes more sense.
A blind man would be walking carrying a lantern.
Another man who came from the opposite direction asked him,
"You can't see even with light. Then why did you bring one?"
The blind man would reply,
"It is for people like you so that you don't push me down due to the darkness"
