Rare February

February 2015

4 Sundays

4 Mondays

4 Tuesdays

4 Wednesdays

4 Thursdays

4 Fridays

4 Saturdays

This will happen only after 823 years

Source:2015 ?? ????? ???????? ????????? 823 ????????????? ??????? ?????? ??????? : Tamilcnn ? Tamil News ? Tamil Cinema ? Tamil Songs

Why give such a wrong information, P J Sir?

February in any year other than leap year will have 4 of all the seven days of the week!
icon3.png

Even if you consider start of February on a Sunday, it was so in

1981, 1987, 1998, 2004, 2009 in the past and in the future
2015, 2026, 2032, 2037, 2043, 2054, 2060, 2065, 2071,
2082, 2088, 2093, 2099 and many more to follow! :bump2:

Which occurss once in 823 years may be the coincidence of Tamil month dates also (Thai 18th on Feb 1st) !

Raji Madam

why do you use such words like "Why give such a wrong information like that

My intention was to post right information .

I have given the source from which i had this info.

If you have additional info or more info, just share it without commenting on the original post.

I doubt whether you will post in the same way if any other member gives any new info with good intention.

Please edit your wording of the post.

Anyway thanks for your additional info.

Dear P J Sir,
Before posting something, you are supposed to find out whether the information is right or wrong! :ranger:

If you give the source, it means that the source gives wrong information and you are giving that information to us to read!

I have to comment on the original post IF it is not correct!

What is so rare about a February if four Sundays, Mondays etc are there? Even the February which starts on a Sunday happens

frequently! I don't see any logic in you getting upset with my comment.

Raji Madam

You could say

Your information about February as Rare seems to be wrong instead of saying Why give such a wrong information?

You know very well with intention i never give wrong info.

It is just semantics. RRji is right in pointing out a mistake, why take it personally.
Sometimes people post stuff without researching. Some utterances by an isolated Muslim is not the muslim view of the world. Similarly some posting by a paid scientist to write against global warming is not the consensus view of all scientist. Sometimes inspite of our best effort we do make mistake, there is nothing wrong in accepting the mistake and go on with the world.
It does not behove us to fight and argue on such trivial matter.

i Do not deny RR Ji right to point out a mistake, but the way of pointing out does matter!!

Ha Ha Ha PJ sir..what to do Sir? You are the Maha Guru when it comes to pointing out discrepancies in your very special way...so all of us are getting "infected" in forum by PJism!LOL

Dear RR ji,

May be you can choose to write like this:

Dear PJ sir..I would like to bring to your kind attention that the information you just shared does not seem to be totally accurate.

Forgive me for saying this but February in any year other than leap year will have 4 of all the seven days of the week.

I would be very grateful if you could accept my point of view.

I do understand that you do utmost service to the Forum and provide excellent post but may be this time you overlooked the error.

Humble pranams for pointing this out..please do not take in the wrong sense that as a younger person I pointed out this to you.I have utmost respect for you.

Your Sincerely.

In the day and age of text messages, who writes such flowery language? The American way is to be precise and to the point. That is most efficient and effective.

prasadji

Why give such a wrong information, P J Sir?
Is this the way to point out a mistake? Be honest , need not support me.

Sri P J is sharing valuable information regularly from various sources. We should be thankful to him for it.
If the information given is subject to correction, I feel it is enough we point out the same with our own
supporting sources. Many a time I get forwarded mail from my friends which are not cent percent accurate
or true. But I appreciate their intention and pointout the same politely.

Brahmanyan,
Bangalore.

brahmanyan Sir

Appreciate your thought on this; however, there i feel that there is way of pointing out a mistake.

No one intentionally post a wrong info.

Why give such a wrong information, P J Sir? By Raji Madam

Is this the way to point out a wrong info ?

If you say, yes, this is the way to point out a wrong info, i have no other argument on this.

I am sorry you feel that way, I did not mean to take sides. Both of you are adult and can settle it yourself.
I just gave my opinion.

This is avoiding an answer. You know very well that was not the way to point out a mistake.

Brahmanyan Sir

Why silence > did you go through all posts in this ? Still do you feel to point out a mistake
one should ask like this ?

Why give such a wrong information, P J Sir?

Is that the way?

or is there any other polite way of pointing out a mistake ?

Being a senior and stalwart, your opinion is appreciated

Prasadji

I stand by my post#6. I think you are being overly sensitive. A chat room like this site is like having a face to face conversation, and you expect a formal written communication. These two are two different mediums.
Of late I see a sense of frustration in your post. You have so much to share, and I enjoy reading your posts, but you seem to be very curt with people. You snap at everybody. You have turned away senior members with very sharp words, which was unnecessary. When I PM'd you chewed my head off.
And now you are after Brahmanyanji, why?

I do not know what you are going through in life, but we are not responsible for it. Please take it easy. We are all friends here for most part.

Dear PJ sir,

I think we all know Raji madam well enough to know that she is a a person who speaks directly and also we all know each other well enough to take some "liberty" with each other.

For example we joke with each other and also hit out at each other in some threads but sometimes you acutely become serious and expect us to conform to your likes and dislikes..that way it becomes hard to interact.

I think we should not get too serious in small matters like this.

Fpr example you have the used Rubbish, BS etc on some of my posts but did I take it seriously?

Nope..I did not..reason is cos I know you well enough in forum to just interact in a fun a manner with you.

So lets all just have fun and be cool.

Most of us do not have any intent to hurt each other.

Dear P J Sir,

You have quoted me several times and hence editing what I wrote earlier will make many of the posts meaningless.

Hence I reword my post like this:

Dear P J Sir,

With due respects to your good self, I am in a position to point out a mistake in the OP which of course is NOT your own research

but by some other person. Kindly note that February in all the years other than leap years have four of each days of the week

and those which start on a Sunday (Wow! Those dates are arranged as a rectangle) are the following...... :blah:

Anyway, I will not disturb your threads anymore if some mistakes appear in the copy pasted OP! All our forum members are
very brilliant and let them find out for themselves! :decision:

I am adding one more sentence to my prayer today!

God! Please give me enough brain to be polite to P J Sir.

I totally support PJ Sir here !

Why give such a wronginformation, P J Sir?

No one can say bluntly that PJ Sir is posting wrong information deliberately that too when he is only quoting from another source. Yes, the information can be wrong. No one is perfect, so by all means correct it..

But one cannot say – one is deliberately posting wrong information. One should double-check the source before posting etc..

And this is a Indian Tamil Brahmin forum, lets stick to our Indian ways of politeness, no need for anyone to croon about the western crap on politeness!!

Thanks to Prasad Sir and Renu for their replies. But, I really enjoy the way P J Sir argues! :argue:

Dear RR ji,

Yes..I too enjoy the way he argues..that is why I also like engaging with him!LOL

But RR ji..I thought PJ sir mentioned in another thread he is wearing a Kavacham to protect himself from me and you..so I have a feeling that some Deva came to ask for the Kavacham and the large hearted PJ sir gave away his Kavacam and Kundalam too so now he is an open target!LOL

You too Jaykay Sir?

Even a school kid will say that any non leap year February will have four of each days in a week. So I was rather surprised to see

this 'Rare February' occurring once in 823 years! I never said P J Sir has 'DELIBERATELY' posted the OP. So, why this kola veRi?

I just asked why he gives a wrong information and that is it.

As I wrote earlier, I shall NOT point out any mistakes in the C n P posts; let the brilliant forum members find out themselves! :spy:

So........Let :peace: prevail, more so because I have reworded my post. :)
