Not you too.
Not everything our ancestors said is necessarily true. Our ancestors knew a lot and we have to build our selves on the basis of this knowledge. But if we are stuck in the 14th century we can not make the progress in 21st century.

The most familiar expression in English is found in a 1676 letter of Isaac Newton:
If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of giants.

Dear Prasad Sir,

'Why should I?' is the Q many kids ask. As kids, we did 'thOppukkaraNam' because our elders asked us to do it in front of Ganesha

or when we committed some mistake! These days, kids need explanation why it should be done and the foreigners do the research

and find out the reason! That is it. :)

P.S: Girls and women refuse to use turmeric powder but buy 'Vicco turmeric Ayurvedic cream' from cosmetic section!

I recently read that women wore heavy earrings in India basically to pull the ear lobes which increases brain power! Sound logic! But why is the author not giving the credit to India??

Have you ever thought why the Maths teacher pulls the ear of the boys who make mistakes in their calculations?

Actually, he tries to activate the brain, if it exists! :D

I had seen this video some time last year..I feel that there is something not right with the breathing technique..in the video a person is asked to inhale while doing a squat holding his ears and to exhale when he stands up.

This does not seem to go along with the usual Yoga breathing where any squat comes with an exhale cos when we squat the intra abdominal pressure increases..

In this video inhaling while squatting will tremendously increase the intra abdominal pressure which as far as I know is not advisable.

So I wonder if the breathing should be..exhale while squatting and inhale with standing up?

Any idea any one?
