Regarding Sudarshana Homam

Hi All,

We are planning to have Sudarshana Homam at our home on 13th April 2012 , the prohit was telling us to have it in the evening ( my Daughter's star is coming @ 3;00 p.m ).

My Question is

1. Can we perform Sudarshana Homam in the evening?
2. Can we perform Sathynarayan Pooja also on the same day?

Please advice

Usually sathyanarayana pooja will be done only on full moon day. you can do on 6-4-2012. Sudarsana homam must be done only in the morning. As per driganitha panchangam uthiradam star begins from 10-35 A.M. you can start doing sudarsana homam from 10-35 AM. In the evening you can do sathyanarayana pooja on the same day.

Before poornahoodhi of sudarsana homam you have to chant vishnu sahasranamam. Sathyanarayana pooja is also for Mahavishnu. You can Perform on the same day.
