Samsung launches S6 Edge+ smartphone

The new 4G device will be available across all retail points from August 28.
Samsung, on Tuesday, sought to up the ante in the large screen segment of the smartphone market in the country with the launch of features-packed Galaxy S6 Edge+, which is priced at Rs.57,900.
The new 4G device, which has sleek ergonomic edge design, will be available across all retail points from August 28. Made from metal and glass, S6 Edge+ will be available in 32 GB memory variants and will come in two colours — gold and silver. The company offers a host benefits for pre-booking.
Unveiling the product for the Indian market, Asim Wari, Vice-President – Marketing (IT & Mobile), Samsung India said: “Our intent is to grow the category, and being a pioneer in large screen phones, we want to stay ahead of competition.”
S6 Edge+ is powered by Octa Core (2.1 GHZ quad + 1.5 GHZ Quad) processor. It has 5.7 inch screen and comes with 4GB RAM (3 GB).
Other key features include Live Broadcast, which lets users share or broadcast a video in real time over YouTube Live. i.e, With this feature, users can easily share special occasions as they happen with family and friends. Also, it will take just 90 minutes only to fully charge .
