Storage is indeed a peculiar thing. Every year we need more and more of it to store our equivalently more detailed data. This data can be used to find and identify partners and can also be used for other purposes.


Indeed, many had made the simple act of crossing the rod into a profitable endeavor.
Now, the world record for the largest single hard-drive goes to a Samsung PM1633a SSD using the latest NAND chips that can be packed together more tightly. Indeed, the size along with the unusual density helped this chip to race circles around previous records.


While yes, a record has been set, we are still a long way off from a day when such multiterabyte SSDs actually become common.
