Manmohan singh, whether inherently honest or not will inherit the sins of his subjects. He is actively supporting daylight robbery.

This is a special and interesting case.

Thorium theft from temple lands:

"The Uvari police have registered a case on lifting of “thorium-rich sand” from the land belonging to Department of Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowment.


Police said the “thorium-rich sand” from 20 acre land around Kaari Sastha Temple at Kundal under the Uvari police station limits had been lifted by some unidentified persons. After taking the mineral-rich sand from about 10 acres of land, owned by Department of Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowment, the sand miners filled-up the 30-feet-deep pits with ordinary beach sand, triggering suspicion that the quarried sand might have contained valuable minerals.

IMO, all the wealth of these politicians and businessmen should be confiscated totally and they should be made to live in poverty for rest of their lives. That I think would be an appropriate punishment for these people.

Dear Sravna Sir,

In one Tamil movie( dont remember the name) the hero tells the court that the politicians, lawyers, doctors who were collectively looted the nation, should be made citizens without rights. their passports confisicated, and they must be made to live in the country as non citizens. Not only that the relatives, sons , daughters, their husbands and his families, all should be made as outcasts. That might be a movies, but if only such judgements could be given in our country who then will dare to loot the country.
The granite scam... they have swallowed a whole mountain range in the state... 10 years back the minister and his family had only an old lambretta scooter and this year their income has grown from 37 cr to 45 cr.. this is white money.. you can imagine the black one which would be 100 times of the white. How did they earn this. Why IT people never question them...Salalried people can only write in forums and can nothing beyond!!

No Cheers when writing about corruption & Politicians in our country!!
 
Over the years politicians of all hues and times have secured themselves from all attempts to chastise them. A formidable percentage of politicians are criminals and sail to positions of money/wealth making power. Unless these people are stopped at the threshold, i.e. at elections or NOMINATIONS, no good will ever come to India. There is another way: Amend the law to declare that all politicians are bankrupt including SG,MM, RG, etc. and their near and distant relatives, friends and enemies and the entire wealth in any form should be surrendered to the government of India and be liquidated. And give them special identity cards with their history and tatoo indeligibly those details on their back. Other things can follow after this first process is over.

Dear Shri Manoharkumar,

That is only in the movies because there are such supermen only in the movies. He takes care of the politicians and the corrupt people. In reality if there are 100 men with 1/100th of such capability or 1000 men with 1/1000th of such a capability we can still accomplish what the movie hero does.

Democracy is a double edged sword. When the people are ignorant, it helps those in power to benefit immensely and as we are seeing, to loot the nation. But the same system can be used immensely to people's benefit if people are alert and well informed.

IMO we need a few strong leaders to make the people arise to reality and make the system work to the common man's benefit.

In my opinion, manmohan sungh is the worst culprit as he has allowed all his ministers and officials to indulge in corrupt practices taking shelter under his so called 'Mr clean image'. When advani called him a weak pm, he was laughed at. When subramanian swamy called him a puppet, dancing to the tunes of sonia, he was brushed aside. singh's true colours are very visible now. By endorsing and justifying corruption he is as bad as the rest.

No point in blaming Dr.MMS. I remember before he was picked up by Sonia as PM when UPA1 was elected to power,when a reporter asked him whether he would agree to be the PM, he told the reporter " No, I am not cut out for the job."
 
Yes, he cannot be blamed. He is part of the corruption brigade; his contribution is to maintain a stoic silence, allow all under him and over him to loot, signing on the dotted line as and when required.

That is why he is keen to get rahul occupy the chair; bur rahul is clever enough to dodge to escape the stink.

It appears that there are instructions for Dr.MMS from his party boss to keep the seat warm till crown prince decides to ascend the throne or next general election whichever happens earlier.
