Any combination is possible.

Usually our desires fuels action based on previously stored acquired knowledge.

For eg me using words like Iccha,Kriya , Jnaana itself is because of my previously acquired knowledge.

Let me give you a simple example.

Just say I face a problem with someone and I stood up to defend myself by words politely and the other person got verbally abusive instead..my brain starts to store new info about this situation and in the future I will choose to avoid dealing with this person unless the person needs my medical help.

So in a way through my old kriya of defending myself had let me gain knowledge to avoid this person and it will reshape my Iccha too in dealings with the person...at the same time I wont let myself become rigid in thinking this person will never change in the future.
