Can any one of you clarify a doubt in "shashdiyaptha poorthy"

If some one unable to conduct their shasdiyapthapoorthi" (as per tamil months) on their 61st birthday, can they celebrate sashdiyapthapoorthy a few months later?

Even I have this doubt. That is if we miss to conduct the actual shastiaptha purty due to some reasons,can we do it the next year?
I would like to know the general rules. Also Is thirukarukkavur the best place to conduct?

Hello Sharma Sir,
Yes. they can.Thirukadavur is the best place and not Thirukarukavoor. Thirukarukavoor is for getting children. Thirukadiayur is the temple of Amritaghadeswarar and Abhirami Amma. Amritaghadeswarar saved life of Markandeyar. He has Amruta Ghatam in his hand and hence Thirukadaiyur.

It is better to conduct in the same birth star in the next month.You can perform the santhi the next birth day(next year)also.It is only a santhi for repentng for all sins done till then and also to pray to Lord MRUTHYANJAY to give pleasurable extended life.Since it is a NIMITHIKA karma the date is not particular but better to do it on Janma nakshatram.
