Some time ago, I mean really some time ago, there was a post from an experienced member about the origin and settlement of Sholiyars (Sozhiyars) of Srirangam. It was quite interesting when I read it at that time. I have been trying to locate it in this site but couldn't get hold of it. If some one who has read it can guide me to access that post. If the author of the post sees this msg, he can help me re-post the same. Thanks.

Thank you Moorthy sir, for taking the trouble to forward the link. It as an interesting article and I have missed it as I became a member only in 2012. Hv taken a print out and read it while travelling. Sir, you may remember, there was a post - post-2012 - by a member re. Sholiars only. If I remember right, he said something like the Sholiars are disciples of Sage Viswamitra who made them don front tuft to differentiate them from other vaishnavites etc., (for some reason, which is mentioned in that post). If someone can help out, I shall be grateful.
