What’s common between Prime Minister-elect Narendra Modi, Tamil Nadu’s J. Jayalalithaa, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and Odisha’s Naveen Patnaik? They’re all in positions of power, start their days early, and yes, are single. No wives or husbands and a lifetime devoted to their careers.

The recently-concluded world’s largest election then has also proven the statistics right, single people are more successful. Research claims the ‘singles’ have more time, patience, focus and at the end of the day, don’t have to fight over the remote.

Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev even has philosophy to back up the numbers. “If one is emotionally organised, having no one waiting for you at home turns out to be an advantage. For relentless pursuit of goals, being single certainly helps.”
Single and winning

I am not winning any election, of course I am not contesting either.

Single?? Really.

Modi is NOT single..he is technically still married but leads a life as a single person.

Jayalalitha might not have formally got married to anyone but her relationship with MGR was always questionable. So Not a Virgin Mary!LOL

Renukaji,

LOL. Again you have jumped the gun. Prasadji does not speak about the things you hAve assumed. He did not say:

1.single means virginity. Or celibacy.Or single means abstination from- you know what.

3.single means remaining unmarried.Or single means a greenhorn bachelor.

Dear Prasad1 Ji,

Well said. Inundation of demands of various kinds from first circle of the individual to do this and that may not be there and one can focus 100% concentration on a given topic and achieve the desired goal and fulfill their election manifestation.

Vajpayee is also said to be a bachelor.

Is JJ more successful than MK? He was five times CM and has been very successful in his personal life also.

Bill Clinton, one of the very successful US Presidents, become US President at the age of 43 and his political carreer was over in his early 50s.
