Smoking Kills

Dear All

My elder brother was a regular smoker in spite of warning from many of us including his family members; he died two years back due to Lung cancer.

Even though non smokers get Lung and other types of cancer, the chances of dying due to cancer is more in the case of smokers.

My humble appeal and request to all smokers, please leave this dreaded habit, and live a life given to you by God

Sir, Smokers smoke in pursuit of pleasure/thill/relaxation etc etc. But what about the damage caused to the secondhand smokers? Does it not amounts to penalizing the innocent for no fault of his.

Please refer this link

Lung Cancer in Non-Smokers

It gives an idea how non smokers suffer.

Sorry Sir, That particular link escaped my attention. Though public smoking the prohibited, neither the smokers seems to be serious about this nor the Governmental Agencies responsible for implementation. I think wearing a nose mask is one among the remedies. IMO we need to be strict with safety measures like wearing an helmet while riding, using nose mask while walking etc

It is better to cover the face regularly unlike criminals who while caught just cover their face for giving pose to photographs.
