Greetings.

This is a new thread to post something to cheer up others. It need not be Monday blues only... It can be to cheer up others at anytime on any day. Good music, nice comedy, great scenaries... anything. All are welcome to post here. Kindly avoid any debate/argument etc. ( I would humbly request Sri. Praveen to remove such posts). Kindly walk in and enjoy some good times.......

Opening with a nice Jazz music number..... ( Bob shared it with me in e-mail).

"Sing Sing Sing" / ep8 Swing Girls English subtitles Music Scene - YouTube

Cheers!

A Sardarji walked into a bar and sat down at the bar, where a news report was on TV. On the news a man was on a ledge outside an upper floor of a building threatening to jump.
The bartender, who'd seen the news report before said, "I'll bet you $50 he's going to jump."
The Sardarji took the bet and put down a $50 bill on the bar. Then the man on the ledge jumped to his death.
The bartender picked up the $50 bill but then, realizing that he'd taken advantage of a poor, dumb Sardarji, his conscience got the better of him and he said, "Look, I'm going to give you back your money. I have to confess that I saw that news report before."

" "That's O.K.," said the Sardarji, "I saw it before too, but I didn't think he was gonna do it again!"---(Since my sardar friends take this lightly and laugh it off posted here...)

Cheers...

The colored people had to accept being slave, did they agree with it?
Does have to be ethnic? You could have said Martian or some other group to make your joke.

Just a suggestion.

Greetings.

I am 55. But sometimes I take refuge in my teen years. My wife has noticed it too. Sometimes she would ask me to 'go back'. Today I am taking refuge in my teen years. I may have to gather bit of attitude from that period. I may be facing a new challenge. All the same it doesn't hurt to be prepared.

I was/am a fan of Louis L/Amour novels. ( They all are western novels. I always like to associate with truth. In his novels, all the places he explained, all the landscapes he narrated were true. Sometimes, even the characters were true). One day I was immersed in one of those novels ( possibly a Sackett novel). In comes Prabhakaran. He was my friend in those days. No, we didn't study together. He was few years my junior. He liked my carefree way of living and liked to hang out with me. ( He went on to complete his degree from Indian Institute of Science. More about him later, please). He said about 'Trinity' and the speed of his draw. ( draw means getting the gun ready to shoot). I didn't believe it when he said that. He said I had to watch it to believe it. Even after few decades, it's still amazing!

A draw scene from the movie "Trinity is Still My Name".....
