This " Sariyaana Potti " stuff was meant to between a 'Camel' and a 'Rat' on this forum.

Somehow, both seem steamed-down and tranquil now ! Was a time when we saw
Kadiveluuku- Edhirvel on a daily basis.

Let's hope it starts off, again - will be big fun.

This type of Dance only will run the show!! imagine two IIT girls dancing Bharatha Natiyam.. will there be any applause?
 
A change in time, dance movements, aesthetics and perceptions! I remember in 'Salangai Oli' movie, Kamal Hasan who knows classical dancing very well, will be doing something resembling "Tappaankuthu" following the dance master's insistence, who will tell him also, "Steppu, Steppu"! Enjoyable show by the two girls! Classic Vanjikkoottai Vaalibhan dance by Padmini and Vaijayanthimaala! Thanks for reminding!

They will P J Sir! The problem is that the girls who prepare for the tough J E E to enter I I T give up learning this

art when they enter their 8th standard! So no girl will remember Bharathanatyam when she enters I I T! And,

the casual dance needs no special dress where as the classical dance needs the special dress and make up too! :D
