If you are like my family, you would have atleast one, if not more of young widows - who have shunned the old practices, and now move about with the same rights dresses dignity confidence and pride as their married counterparts.

Recently a widowed cousin married off her son, and it was left to the husband's brother who 'officiated' with a looong face. She regretted later, that she should have done the honours, as it was she, single handedly brought up her two children.

So it was with great surprise I saw this Tanishq ad - I think it is a dark skinned widow remarrying (Kargil widow?). Very heartwarming and yeah to another progressive step acknowledged by our advertising folks.

Tanishq breaks social norms, celebrates remarriage in new ad

Btw mrs K loves Tanishq designs. and me too. They bring out the best of Indian jewellery patterns set to current trends.

hi
its really touching ad...its reality too...bold enough to modern society...even i feel tears in my eyes...very emotional touching ad...
