[h=1]The App Store is getting a better Search Engine[/h] November 14, 2015 Kishore Ganesh Leave a comment
The App Store is home to millions of apps, so finding the apps you want through it is very difficult, and there are a lot of clones and poorly made apps on the App Store.
While the App Store does have some really good Apps and Games, it does not have a robust search system. Its search doesn’t use any fancy algorithms and simply uses keywords in the title to search, which is really not effective.
Now, according to many developers, Apple has improved the search engine of the App Store to a point where it searches using contextual information, partial keywords and more. It displays apps that are actually relevant.
This helps developers’ apps and games to be found more easily in the App Store. Essentially, the new search engine is ideal for separating wheat from the chaff.
