Sir, while we wait, I, you, & several of us at this forum may or would have died.

We don't have to wait as we can already witness technological evolution with the creation of quantum computers which puts immense power in the hands of scientists & governments.

Singapore has recently developed a system to enhance the communication between regular computers to communicate & initiate processes with quantum computers:

As stated in my last replied post, human evolution is an inevitability, always keeping one or two steps ahead of technological evolution because we are the ones who develop that capability in those machines.

In that context we still reign supreme over them as we have inbuilt spirituality attempting to grasp the concept of the soul, emotional hearts to retain our humanitarian capacities, rationalizing minds to learn to exercise our free will. Machines are yet to be sentient but are well on their way to achieving that because of AI.

At that point, we would be considered obsolete & irrelevant because they would have learned to build more of themselves & repair themselves as well, if broken. Man would become unneeded anymore so they will find a smart way to make us extinct by wiping us from existence no matter how well we code them not to harm human lives. It's a scary thought but one with a significant possibility. Food for thought.

Regards.
