This is an amazing story of twin baby girls. One baby was not expected to live. A hospital nurse fought to put them in the same incubator. The stronger baby wrapped her arm around her sister, and her touch allowed the struggling baby's heart to stabilize and her temperature to return to normal.

This is a True story.

For full story read from here : snopes.com: Rescuing Hug

So even a baby in the incubator knows
the power of an affectionate hug
and the moral support it can extend! :clap2:

Small wonder people hug tight both
when they share happiness or sorrow.

I am reminded of one of my quotes:
"I don't care how much you know!
I want to know how much you care."

Human touch can convey emotions.

It can transfer energy - either give it or drain it.

I get my energy when I hug my sons, Daughters in law

and grand kids and also from madam R.R.

We are frequent huggers! :)

I can hug my mom but not my other sisters or my sister in law.

They maintain their personal space.

The stranger whom I spontaneously hugged is Dr. C.N.

Wow! she is so childlike and so huggable.

Even in the forum I think I am the one who does

most of the virtual hugging -

restricted only the lady members of course. :)

No wonder mat Amirthanandamayi is so popular.

She transfers positive energy to each and everyone she hugs.

She infuses confidence through her hugs.

Once when someone's finger tips touched mine accidentally

I drew back feeling as if I had touched a live coal.

Soon I found out that his intentions were bad and

it got transferred by his scorching touch.

Not advised!!

P.S: Don't click a 'like' without seeing the video!!

LOL! RR Ji,

Why you spoiled the suspense!

I was surprised to see VR Ji click like! Ha Ha Ha..

And she wrote she will view it later...I was thinking 'Poor VR Ji...she has no idea what is in store"

Dear VR ji,

I seldom hug anyone..my son says he is man(he is only 13 BTW) and he says men dont like hugs!

But he will hug me when he watches Zee TV Fear Files and get scared!

But when I attend medical meetings where we get to see fellow docs after a long time..usually I try to stay away from some serial hugger male doctors.

They somehow will say 'Hi How are you...long time no see" and try to hug you..so when I see such guys I normally try to run from them!LOL

So Dr. Renu set up a funny trap

and I still managed to escape!

Yahoooooooooooooooooooo! :)

What will happen if I shout

gmailllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll :der:

or hotmailllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll :loco:

or hotmaaaaaaaaaaaaaale???

Dear VR ji,

If you shout hotmaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaale....forum males members will ask you "did you call me?"

In most of the Tambram houses, the kids are hugged only till they are about 5 years old! Then they

are not hugged often since they are considered grownups! I don't remember my dad or mom hugging

me or my other siblings. Actually the concept of hugging 'caught' me and VR mAm only since our sons

went to the US of A! One tambram senior guy at a party in my sister in law's house at West Virginia

went on hugging all the ladies who were introduced to him! So, when my turn came, I stepped back
with a :pray2: and escaped!! :bolt:

P.S: P J Sir was unhappy with me for writing about the 'hugging culture' in the U S of A.

Then Kunjuppu Sir came to my rescue by mentioning, 'Hugging is a NORM in the west!'

dear Renu,

So "men don't like hugs!"

Wait till your son gets married to trap him in his own words.

But he becomes a child while watching scary serials and hugs you!!!

Serial huggers need not be dangerous after all.

People express love and affection in different ways.

If the touch is bad or dangerous, we will know it immediately.

Some Husbands do not want to be touched even by their wives.

What do you say about this???

They will walk half a furlong ahead of the wife.

They will see that there is always a person or an unoccupied chair

between them and the unwanted wife!

They will never wait before taking a turn or deviation and ensure that

the poor wife gets all tensed up - wondering which way to proceed.

My military mama has a hat trick in sons but no daughters.
He loves us the four sisters as his own daughters and
always gives a big bear hug whenever we meet.

But we never go very near to out youngest mama
even though he was equally affectionate to us.
