I have received a message in my Whatsapp from one of my colleagues, staring that in response to the efforts of Subramanyam Swami, the President issued a proclamation yesterday that any one who scolds a Brahmin as 'PARPPAN' will be arrested under Caste Clashes Act.

He also wanted to know whether it is true.

No idea! I am not aware of any such ordinance! But if such an ordinance is enacted I will welcome it! Tambrahms have faced lots of barbs, invectives and cheap comments with that word! The origin is not derogatory but its application was made derogatory by XXX ho is banned in this site!!
