         [h=3]Mumbai: New software to reduce response time to disasters[/h] To reduce response time in emergency situations, the civic body’s disaster management department will introduce a new software that will hook various agencies into a single system. Currently, the team of officials in the disaster management control room receives an emergency call and then calls the departments concerned to relay the message. In the new system, however, the message will be automatically sent to the relevant agencies which can then take action accordingly.
