Police have identified the deceased as Gautam Laxman Veer (54), a resident of Akurdi who worked as an attendant at the National Institute of Virology, and Balayya Mark Pidatala (63), a resident of Ghorpadi who worked as an attendant at the office of Public Works Department. The Met department recorded 4 mm rainfall in the city.
