The boy was 2 years old and could produce all kinds eerie and weird sounds but not talk.


He has learned to make those sounds by listening to the P.C which was left ON 


all the time to entertain him and engage him.


He had become like a Tarzan or a Mowgli but not like a regular child.


I had to start with 'appa', a'mma', 'aNNa' etc to make him speak human language.


I see one more child now who can imitate any sound but is hesitating to talk.


The ONLY reason can be that no one ever speaks to him in any language.


Talk to your children. Tell them stories or read out the stories with voice modulation and expression.


It may appear like a waste of time in your busy routine.


I assure it is the ONLY time of the day you will be spending usefully.


It teaches the children words, expression, emotions, modulations and some morals in addition. 


It builds up a rapport which will surely continue throughout your lives -


 even when the children become adults and the adults become oldies! :)
