Have you ever thoiught about this?

The most self conscious person is the one who tries to get the most attention from the crowd.

He/she assumes airs; always keeps checking out how many eyes are on him/her;

talks to loudly, laughs unnecessarily and attracts attention in every possible way.

Some others do this in a more scandalous way by baring their skin daringly.

Once in an Ayyangar wedding a fair girl (usually referred to as asattuch segappu)

came in a thin black revealing net sari and a halter blouse in which the twin sister glands are

supported by  a thin tape passing over the neck.

Every eye was riveted on her and she  was thoroughly enjoying all the attention she could get.

Some others turn up wearing dresses more showy than those of the bride and groom.

In a wedding the bride and groom must get all the attention and not anybody in the crowd!
