To be to not to be alone?

I seek nothing but pure intellectual company;
Too much to ask for, when denied of any company!

Those who are intelligent, decided to keep off;
Those who are regular, also decided to keep off.

The reasons for their actions may be different;
But to me their the actions are not different.

The popular combination is ‘fight or flight’!
Those who fight first, later to take to flight.

Those who do not fight also take to flight;
This is done, may be, out of sheer fright!

Two is company and three is a crowd.
But in God’s good company I feel proud!
