Instead of his own talents mining,
He spent all his time in whining!

His weak stem needed a twining,
On something stronger for veining.

Without any protective lining,
He was, his evil fate, signing.

He needed to work hard for shining,
Yet all he could do was just dining.

Success does not come smiling,
To those who just remain pining!

Pining does not lead to shining!
Whining does not lead to winning!
