The noon and the full moon!


The month was the lovely June,

The place was a sandy dune.


It felt like the sweetest  boon

To listen to his lovely  croon. 


His face was a crumpled prune;

 But his looks did not ruin the tune!


He even looked like a local goon; 

But his looks did not ruin the tone! 


Surely it was indeed  too very soon

For her to feel faint and to swoon.


It was the height of the brightest noon;

The effect of noon differs from the moon!


A cool night lit only by a full moon 

Might indeed have made her swoon.
