A proverb a day to brighten the day.

258a. Die Person über sich selbst zu loben, ist eine offene Schande.

258b. Praising to the person about he himself, is an open disgrace.

Praising is the key to enter into any heart - friendly or unfriendly.

People love being praised - whether they deserve it or not.
People love being praised - whether the words are true or not.
