Something...Something!

Man needs something to hold on to ...always, at all times and in all places.

Why else do  we have handles on everything and everywhere around us?

The need for the handle was emphasized a thousand times during our brief stay in a posh hotel in a Kerala. (May be it more apt to call it as a 'push' hotel!)

The 18" foam bed (?) functioned like a giant seesaw pushed the sleeping people on to the floor - since there was nothing to hold on to in the frame of the cot.

The bathroom door did not have a handle but we are supposed to keep it closed! at all times.

HOW???

The shower cubicle did not have even a small button to help us to pull open the watertight glass door - standing on the wet floor with wet/soapy hands!

Man needs something to hold on to...God, friends, family, pets...!!! He who has no faith in God, no family to love and no friends to share with is a very lonely man.

Loneliness, the bane of the modern life is because the selfish man - who is both lacking faith and love -  has nothing and no one to hold on to!
