A proverb a day to brighten the day!


583a. Kennt der Topf den Geschmack des darin gekochten Brei?


583b. Does the pot know the taste of the porridge cooked in it?


It is not just the pot which is ignorant of the taste of the porridge cooked in it.


Most human beings do the same thing and remain ignorant of 

the virtues and merits of those people who are closest to them.


 If ever they realise the virtues and merits of anyone in their life, 

it will be when that person is no more and this realization is of no use!
