Disgusting! Railways are not showing vibrancy..Looks like it is moribund! Hope Railways act swiftly on this compliant and take action against the erring pantry person!

Passengers on the Ernakulam-Kolkata Duronto Express raised a complaint on Sunday after a person alleged to have seen a pantry car official using water from the toilet taps for preparing tomato soup.

These are very sensitive things that Railways should take care..When a compliant is made immediate action needs to be taken...This will improve the confidence of public in Railways
 
Ordinary passenger coaches with toilets are converted into pantry cars.
Instead, Railways should design and build special pantry cars.
Those who are accustomed to take food in Veg-cum-Non Veg hotels/ eateries could take food from Railway pantries, as they do not have much distinction / division in their kitchen..

once upon a time.....many brahmins were contractors for raulway pantry car/VRR....now the quality/quantity are gone with the winds..
 
with solar panels on roof of compartments , enough electricity to boil toilet water for tea and coffee.Unintended benefit of

solar power in trains.long live prabhu -messiah of modernisation of indian railways.
