I have lost a couple of them in marriage halls, kutcheris...But it takes a while to get over the loss..Walking bare foot looks like we are naked

Recently I had gone to railway station to receive someone.

One shoeshine boy pestered me and took my shoes [slip on type] for polishing at the platform

He pointed out that I was wearing two shoes of left leg while polishing.

In a hurry , I had worn one out of pair of similar shoes of one of my relatives visiting me.

I ended up with two polished left leg shoes.

After reaching home, both had one shoe polished, lol.

Wearing others shoes sometimes in marriage functions by mistake is common..

I have had chappals exchanged at such functions.

Only a bit of discomfort wearing chappals not your own
