Only few stanzas of Moha mudgaram ( bhaja govindam) are sung in the song popularized by MS. Here is an attempt to bring out the meanings of those stanzas that are not sung, sung in saMskrt and tamil in modern music

In these stanzas, Adi Shankara describes how we are extremely attached and desirous of our life and only when we detach wit jnana as gleamed from bhagavad gita, we can attain true liberation
